Spatiotemporal dynamics in a delayed diffusive predator–prey system with nonlocal competition in prey and schooling behavior among predators

چکیده

Abstract The nonlocal competition in prey and schooling behavior among predators are incorporated a delayed diffusive predator–prey model. Our main interest is to study the dynamic properties of model generated by delay. We mainly concentrate on stability Hopf bifurcation at coexisting equilibrium. Compared with without competition, our results suggest that can affect equilibrium, induce stably spatial bifurcating periodic solutions.

Variation in predator foraging behaviour changes predatorprey spatiotemporal dynamics

1. Foraging underlies the ability of all animals to acquire essential resources and thus provides a critical link to understand population dynamics. A key issue is how variation in foraging behaviour affects foraging efficiency and predator–prey interactions in spatially heterogeneous environments. However, there is very little quantitative information available on this topic. 2. We evaluated t...

Spatiotemporal Dynamics of a Diffusive Leslie-Gower Predator-Prey Model with Ratio-Dependent Functional Response

This paper is devoted to the study of spatiotemporal dynamics of a diffusive Leslie–Gower predator–prey system with ratio-dependent Holling type III functional response under homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions. It is shown that the model exhibits spatial patterns via Turing (diffusion-driven) instability and temporal patterns via Hopf bifurcation. Moreover, the existence of spatiotemporal ...

Spatiotemporal Dynamics of a Delayed and Diffusive Viral Infection Model with Logistic Growth

Abstract: Viruses have important influences on human health: they not only cause some common diseases, but also cause serious illnesses. Moreover, the conventional medicines usually fail to prevent or treat them, and viral infections are hard to treat because viruses live inside the body’s cells. However, some mathematical models can help to understand the viral transmission mechanism and contr...
